Why this blog has been so quiet lately

I’ve been so busy living, I haven’t had time to blog about it!

First of all, life in this tiny village has been surprisingly busy. Between school events, village fetes, playdates and dinner dates, we’ve got something going on every day and night of the week. Loads of material for future blog posts!

Second, solo parenting in a foreign country has been more time-consuming than anticipated. I’m sure this is not surprising to anyone but me.  I somehow thought that I would be more efficient and productive here. Ha! What was I thinking?

Finally, my computer died a very hot and loud death. I am typing this entry on my iPhone two feet from the wifi box, which is the only place I can get a reliable Internet connection today.
